- Review SAP changes to ensure that compliance with SOX and Operational controls have been satisfied. - Validate Changes requested for release are available for migration in the SAP system and packaging of all changes for a release to the Migration and Distribution team. - Analyze business and technical requirements, develop test plans and scripts. Perform system testing, load/stress testing, integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing and unit testing. - Perform regression testing when the environment changes.
⢠Development in COBOL for Custom Application System Group, a group where there were many special emergency projects that needed to be coded, tested and implemented in hours compared to months, as with other projects. ⢠Schedule and provide release education for development. Development and maintenance coding in COBOL and MVS JCL. ⢠Communicate status of deliverables to the release technician weekly. If release is behind schedule, communicate status daily. ⢠Assist release manager with establishing change management and production control lead times for the release. ⢠Track migration requests, including rework and retrofit Endevor migrations. Update Mercury Test Director incident with each rework performed. ⢠Determine Endevor packaging strategy for the release. Facilitate a review of the packaging plan with the release team.
⢠Production support of a large and complex healthcare claims processing system. The system is comprised of seven batch and seven test batch cycles, which run daily. Developed code with COBOL. NDM process between mainframes and/or UNIX was developed, which is similar to MQ series. ⢠Install software releases, change management duties, follow-up on batch abends, research cycle problems within critical timeframes, schedule jobs for batch cycles, and perform cycle setup duties before the batch cycles begin each evening. ⢠On-call availability required on nights and weekends. Monitor batch-processing cycles, resolve abends to restart batch cycles, document processing problems, identify problems and escalate to the appropriate level, multi-task and prioritize multiple abends for resolution, interact via telephone with support personnel and customers.
⢠Responsible for analysis and program development of the Citi Cards collection system, both batch and online, which also included setting up jobs and procs, setting up or changing schedules through OPC, and communicating any changes required with the business analysts involved. Development in COBOL and MVS JCL. Also set up and monitored NDM process between mainframe and UNIX. ⢠Support and problem resolution for online and batch production problems. Kept track of problem determination and resolution through Infoman. Staged all necessary programming and JCL changes through Changeman. ⢠On-call availability required on nights and weekends. ⢠Responsible for staging all batch and online changes for quarterly releases into Changeman. Ran periodic audits to make sure that the changes were in sync. Worked with team members to correct any errors found in the audits. ⢠Monitor batch cycles, resolve abends, and log all abends and resolutions for future reference. ⢠Monitor user acceptance and regression cycles, resolve and log all abends and resolutions.
⢠Assumed primary support of Mortgageserv system with licensed client. ⢠Involved in installation, testing and implementation of new software releases on licensed clientâs system.
Provided first and second level support for ACH system, and second level support of Installment Loan system. ⢠Installed most recent release of I/L at 1st Source Bank, which included installing the software and then re-applying all custom code changes that were made to their system. Development in COBOL and Assembler, and MVS and VSE JCL.

Types of loans maintained on the system were personal, student, business, line of credit, home equity and business equity line of credit. ⢠Automated the posting of check advances through 1st Source Bankâs in-house proof of deposit system. ⢠Assumed all support required to I/L system. ⢠Converted out-of-date Commercial Loan system to CAâs system. ⢠Responsible for analysis of all changes and support to the C/L system. ⢠Converted to a new online collection system from a manual system, and interfaced it to the I/L and deposit systems. Responsible for all support required. ⢠Developed, implemented, and maintained a home banking system, and interfaced it to the I/L and deposit systems. ⢠Other assignments included support for: ACH, deposits, proof of deposit, and G/L systems. ⢠Leader on quality improvement team to automate coupon book processing with Allison Payment Systems. ⢠Participated on another quality improvement team to reduce closing of checking accounts
